Church of the Good Shepherd
Morning Worship - Sundays 10am

Our main service where about 200 adults and children get together. Expect a mixture of modern worship songs, prayers, topical preaching and refreshments (including fresh coffee!) after the service. Children are welcome to stay with you during the (Picture of church member)service, or, if you prefer, a crèche is provided for the under 3s, as well as other activities for older children. The first service of each month is usually an ‘all-age’ service, during which the ‘talky bit’ is more accessible to children.

Useful Stuff

We try to make all our services ‘user-friendly’. You will be greeted by our ‘welcome team’ at the door who will answer any questions you have. The services usually last about an hour and a half, apart from the all-age service which is an hour.

Even though we are a Church of England church we don’t wear robes, and have a music group which includes drums, guitars and electric piano. Twice a month we have communion which is open to all those that know Jesus. There also times in the service when ‘words’ or ‘pictures’ are shared as well as opportunities for people to receive prayer from our trained team after the service. Don’t worry about all this as it will be explained clearly as the service progresses.

 Holy Communion -Sundays 8am

(Picture of church member)On the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month we hold a quiet spoken communion service with a short talk in the church.

Healing Service - Sundays 7pm

On the 1st Sunday of the month there is an informal service with prayer for healing, which is open to everyone.
