What is a home group?
Over 100 of our Church family are in one of the nine small groups that meet each week!
Our home groups are opportunities for us to be more intimate in sharing and receiving. Each group is small in number to help conversations and prayer times to be easy for everyone (no matter how long they have been a Christian) to feel at ease. We either meet in someone’s home or within the Church. The groups are for everyone and help us all to remember “God is good all the time and all the time God is good!”, as we discover more about our Christian faith, as we discover more about Jesus and share our testimonies with one another.
Who is it for?
Everyone! All those who are interested in developing their faith, and being drawn ever closer to the heart of God, through reading His word, praying and listening to what He is saying to His people.
When do you meet and where?
Groups currently meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and on a Thursday morning. We meet either at Church, local homes and homes of those living outside of the parish.
If you are interested in joining a home group please pop in on a Sunday, phone the office or send us an email – we’d love to hear from you.
The love and support is brilliant, as is the prayer for each person who struggles with day-to-day issues in his or her life. There is also time for praise and worship in its many and varied forms. Often the groups will focus on given topics. It’s great to listen to a sermon series and discuss each week how we can apply the teaching to our daily lives.
Wouldn’t it be great to live out Acts 2:46?
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts”
Acts 2:46 (NIV)
